Our Tours

Temporarily Suspended

Tourism to the DPRK is currently suspended. In early 2020, the DPRK became the first country in the world to fully close its borders in response to COVID-19. While limited reopening has taken place for trade and official business, tourism remains closed. At present, the only foreign tour groups that have been permitted to enter are from Russia. In early 2025, the special economic zone of Rason briefly reopened to foreign visitors, but this window closed abruptly for reasons that were not made public. Since 2020, other foreign visits to the DPRK have taken place only through business channels or special delegations and do not constitute tourism. Historically, announcements regarding the reopening of tourism to the DPRK have often been made on relatively short notice. We remain in regular contact with our partners in Korea, and as soon as tourism is officially confirmed to resume, this page will be updated immediately with our full tour offerings, including itineraries, prices, and departure dates. If you would like to be among the first to know when tourism resumes, please subscribe to our newsletter. In the meantime, if you are interested in exploring the region, we invite you to check out our China travel experiences at [Tianxia Travels](https://tianxiatravels.com).
